Sliding rheostats are divided into three series for power ratings up to 7 kilowatts.
Higher power ratings are reached by assembling several units.
Each rheostat is built at the required ohmic value, in the range of feasible values.

Sliding Rheostats
Description
- the rheostats are constructed of 1 to 4 wirewound tubes, available in 5 sizes
- the windings are made of low-temperature coefficient resistance wire to insure the best stability of the ohmic value
- the slider mechanisms are optimized to provide a smooth motion and a high resistance to wear (durability)
- numerous options are available: type of terminal connections, manual or motorized slider drive, etc.
